Plagiarism detection
The Revista Mexicana de Ciencias Agrícolas uses specialized software to detect plagiarism. Submitted manuscripts undergo a preliminary review before being sent for editorial and academic assessment; they will be rejected if the similarity to another text—whether published or available online—exceeds 15%. If possible plagiarism is detected or reported in a published article, the procedure followed is that established by COPE.
