Abstract

Organic avocados from Michoacán and reaches about 6 000 ha, is an alternative to conventional avocado because it can be less environmental impact, especially in the phytosanitary and nutritional aspect. The aim of this study was to evaluate the organic avocado nutrition and its impact on some agronomic crop variables. The work was developed in the Huerta “El Rosario” located in the town of New Parangaricutiro, Michoacan, fertigation trees eight years old. Organic products were evaluated for nutrition according to their origin. Treatments were 1. Organic ferments (FO); 2. Fishderived (PD); 3. Organic compost (CO); 4. Microorganisms (MO); 5. Vermicompost (LC); and 6. Conventional control (T). The experimental design was randomized blocks with 8 reps, serving a tree as the experimental unit. Agronomic traits evaluated were: availability of nutrients in soil solution, trunk and fruit growth, vegetative shoot length, percentage of flowering and jetty, fruit yield and leaf nutrient content. The overall results indicate that the organic nutrition is a viable nutrient for high concentration in soil and leaves, suitable values for mooring and fruit growth, trunk and vegetative buds, flowering and fruit yield alternative.
