This research aimed to evaluate the agronomic quality indicators in broccoli production systems in San Andrés Mixquic, D. F., where the crop is planted in 950 ha during two or three year cycles. Mixquic is the largest producer in the Federal District, and one of the leading providers in the Central de Abasto in Mexico City. Fieldwork was conducted in 20 farmers' fields, monitoring agronomic plots, soil sampling and broccoli. Five sampling sites were selected in each plot, determining: density and yield. With heads samples, in the laboratory we measured perimeter, diameter, weight and colour of the heads. The agronomic quality parameters are within the defined quality standards for marketing in fresh in the domestic market NMX-FF 046-1982 of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (SFI, 1982), which states that for quality Mexico Extra and No. Mexico 1, the equatorial diameter of the plant should be larger than 7 cm and with the buds closed and the inflorescence is compact. The average yield of broccoli was 13.2 t ha-1 with a variation between 7.5 and 19.9 t ha-1.
