Abstract

Recent efforts at the Bajío Experimental Field of the National Research Institute of Forestry, Agriculture and Livestock (INIFAP) have allowed the development of varieties of high-yielding wheat and high levels of disease resistance. Among these is the new superior genotypes Luminaria F2012 range that outperforms Bárcenas S2002 with 8% resistant to stripe rust, moderately resistant to leaf rust and of similar quality. Luminaria F2012 seed is available in the Bajío Experimental Field.
