This study aimed to evaluate the response of different doses of inorganic supplemented organic fertilizer in pistachio foliar nutrition dynamics and yield. The effect of 4 doses of dairy cattle compost as nitrogen source supplemented with 11-52-00 was studied. The treatments were: (T0) control (non- application), (T1) 5 t ha-1 compost plus 480.66 kg ha-1 11-52-00; (T2) 10 t ha-1 compost plus 436 kg ha-1 11-52-00; (T3) 15 t ha-1 compost plus 406 kg ha-1 11-52-00, and (T4) 20 t ha-1 compost plus 377 kg ha-1 11-52-00. The fertilizer application date was March 16th, 2012 (single application), band application, 10 cm deep, these application doses were based on garden soil analysis, in trees of the Nazareth - Chico variety for males, and Sfax for females, 15 years old and in production. Results indicate that the best fertilization dose was 10 t ha-1 compost supplemented with 436 kg ha-1 11-52-00, with 4 037.6 kg ha-1 yield, which increased production 63.16% over control (non- application). These preliminary data suggest that inorganic supplementation of organic fertilization, could be a viable alternative for improving the pistachio nutritional status and production.
