This study evaluated the effects of two spray-mixture agitation systems -mechanical (propeller) and hydraulic (vortex)- combined with different flow rates and nozzle types on the viability of Bradyrhizobium japonicum and Azospirillum brasilense. Four randomized block experiments were conducted to assess agitation mode, flow rate and nozzle type under simulated application conditions. Viability was quantified by colony-forming unit (CFU) counts in 2023. Agitation type, flow rate, nozzle type and the complete system configurative; does not increase bacterial mortality. It is concluded that the agricultural sprayer system and its operational parameters do not influence the viability of the tested inoculants.
